Thank you Bank of America

Thank you Bank of America

I have to say that I am very happy to know that Bank of America is looking out for the protection of my account against fraud. It does make me sleep better. So when they contacted me this morning asking me to verify some transactions because they looked suspicious of fraud I thought; "Oh no - someone has my account and is spending all of my hard-earned money on all sorts of shady things - help!". Um, no - just wait for it. The "suspicious" transactions were: (1) a new eHarmony subscription, (2) a $40 bill at the grocery store, and (3) a $20 bill at 5 Guys. So I guess in their mind a single gal looking for love wouldn't sign up for a pricey singles site AND then buy a lot of food at the grocery store AND a lot of food at a burger joint - right? There must be something hinky going on - for real. I mean she really should be cutting back on those burgers and fries. And what cost $40 at Food Lion? Hopefully fruit and salad - maybe some grilled chicken. Well, It is good to know that Bank of America was looking out for this single gal and froze her card so she could not reload her Starbucks card this morning. But, now we are all set and back in business. They are once again on the job and hopefully when I decide to take up those paddle board lessons this summer they will be there to freeze my account because let's be honest - when IS the last time I exercised outside? It all points to fraud.
